Summer Program Business Manager

The main tasks will be to assist in summer program business administration (payroll etc) and develop networks (online and face to face) of non-profit organizations and individuals, within our constituency (Edmonton Spruce Grove), that work with families, teachers, students, parents, and seniors for the benefit of present and future generations.  A special effort will be made to contact groups that work with, aboriginals, persons with disabilities, newcomers to Canada and the use of French language.  Duties will also include research and networking on non-profit business administration including fund raising, charitable status.  Part of this research will be related to employing students for Canada Summer Jobs and developing network(s) related to environmental sustainability.   The employee must support our Value Based Medium approach, including the values of our partners, as well as work on other FACTSnet projects, as required.  The employee will assist in planning and hosting a culture and heritage networking event.  Research, training and network development may take place at various sites within and outside the constituency and over the Internet.
